Greek Almond Biscuts

Serving size: 20

Ingredients:

250g unsalted butter

¾ cups icing sugar

1tsp vanilla extract

2 ¼ cups plain flour

100g chopped toasted almonds

Extra icing sugar to dusts










Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C

  2. Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix together with hands

  3. Once combine place in the fridge to cool for 10-15 minutes

  4. Shape small portion in the mixture in to horse shoe shapes and place on a lined baking tray, leaving 1-2cm spacing between each biscuit for growth

  5. Cook until golden brown, remove from oven and leave on tray until cool. Once cool dust with icing sugar and serve

Note

  • Make sure butter is either melted or softened when using to ensure ease of combing the ingredients
