Scallop And Chive Dumplings

Serving size: 20 dumplings

Ingredients: 30g Chives

300g Scallops

2Tbsp Oyster Sauce

1Tbsp Soy Sauce

1 Red Chilli (according to taste)

30 Dumpling wrappers







Method

  1. Dice scallops, add sauces, chives and chilli and cook for 5 minutes or until meat begins to turn white (should still be raw) Remove from pan and let cool

  2. Add a teaspoon of the mixture to the centre of each dumpling wrapper, fold in half and press the sides together

  3. Place dumpling in steamer until cooked

Notes:

  • prawns or crab are a good substitute for the scallops

  • Can be served with chilli oil, or soy sauce

  • These can be made in advance and frozen, then steamed when needed
